Maharaja Express Child Policy :
Parents can take along their child, but they must be careful about the adult atmosphere that the train wants to maintain. While traveling with your child please read carefully the followings:
- Maharajas’ Express doesn’t charge any accommodation charge for a child who is below 5 years old. Parents can take their child with them while sharing double bed rooms.
- Parents have to pay 50% of the total adult fare if they take their single child between 5 years to 12 years. It is also subject to sharing of double bed with parents. It will depend upon the availability of the double bed accommodation at the time of booking.
- If parents take their two children then they have to book a separate cabin. The first child has to pay 50% of the adult fare and the other has to pay 100% of the adult cost of the accommodation. Means one child gets 50% concession and one has to pay the full amount of the adult fare.
- Only the Presidential suite car of the train has interconnecting cabins, others accommodations have no such cabins.
- All applicable taxes would be extra for children booking also.
