Maharaja Express Onboard Facilities :
The most luxurious train in Asia, Maharaja Express offers world-class facilities on board. The coaches are cocoons of comfort and luxury. The on board facilities are:
Coaches and Saloons
- The coaches are designed and decorated in a royal style. There are five carriages for deluxe cabins, six carriages for junior suites, two for suites and one carriage for presidential suite. The windows of the train are engineering marvel built by the
- Integral Coach Factory, Chennai. All the passenger cabins have individual temperature controls and decked with state-of-the art facilities.
- The coaches offer world-class amenities and services, such as LCD televisions, DVD players, direct dial telephone, in-house movie facility, electronic safe, 110/230 V sockets.
Restaurants
- There are two fine dining restaurants on board Maharaja Express. Adorned with art works the restaurants offer a soothing ambience for dining. A wide range of Indian and continental delicacies are served. Connoisseurs can pamper their taste buds relishing the lip-smacking dishes.
Bar and Lounges
- Complimentary wines and beers are served on board. The bar serves a wide range of wines, beers and spirits with snacks. The observation lounge offers private sit-outs and gaming facilities.
Laundry
- Limited Laundry service is provided to the guests at some stations only. Guests have to contact the carriage butler if they need any laundry service.
Internet
- On board internet facility is available.
Telephone Calls
- In all cabins of the train telephone facility is available. For external calls one has to pay as it is not included in tariff.
