The Indian Maharaja arrives at Daulatabad in the morning. Visit the Daulatabad Fort. After breakfast, you would proceed towards the Ellora caves, a World Heritage Site located at a distance of 30 kms away from Aurangabad. The Caves date back to 600-1000 A.D. The cave sculptures temples are dedicated to faiths of Brahmanism, Jainism, and Buddhism.
Lunch is served at Taj Residency. Post lunch visit the Aurangabad city. You can pick up souvenirs from the local markets. Board the Train. The Train leaves for Jalgaon.

The train arrives at Jalgaon. Proceed to Ajanta Caves by an ac coach. A British army officer discovered the caves in 19th century. The caves of Ajanta are related to Buddhism and this caves date back to 200 BC - 650 AD. These caves are called as Universal pictorial art or masterpieces of Buddhist art.
Return back to board the train. The train departs for Udaipur.

The Indian Maharaja train arrives at Udaipur in the morning. After having lunch, visit the City Palace, once the royal residence of the Mewar royal family. Explore the beauty of the triple-arched gate, the Suraj Gokhada or Balcony of the Sun and the Crystal Gallery.
Then, visit the Sahelion-ki-Bari Garden which is famous for its water bodies and fine stone work. The 16th century Jagdish Temple is devoted to Lord Shiva. Take a boat cruise visit Jag Mandir Palace located in middle of the lake Pichola. Also flock the colorful markets of Udaipur.


On the 5th day of Indian Maharaja Train tour itinerary, you would reach Jaipur. This royal city is one of the most sought after attractions in India. It was once a princely state of the Kachwas dynasty. After breakfast you would visit the Albert Hall, and City palace.
Post lunch, visit the Amber Fort located on a hillock on the outskirts of the city. This fort is one of the masterpieces of Rajput architecture. The architecture of the fort has some elements of Mughal architecture.
Visit the markets which sale lots of handicrafts things. Explore the astronomical observatory known as Jantar Mantar. You will proceed to Bharatpur. Dinner is served onboard the train.

Early morning the train reaches Bharatpur. You would go for a bird safari in the Kaleodeo Ghana National Park. After bird safari in the park the train leaves for Fatehpur Sikri. It is the abandoned capital of the Mughal Emperor Akbar. There are palaces, tombs which are considered as masterpiece of Mughal architecture.
The Train leaves for Agra. Explore the majestic Taj Mahal and the Agra Fort. Taj is a majestic monument made by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife. Explore the marble beauty of Taj. Do shopping at the markets of Agra. Dinner is served on board. The Train leaves for Delhi at the scheduled time


You would arrive at Delhi early in the morning. After being greeted by our or representative, you would be taken to a hotel. After taking your lunch, you would embark on tour of Delhi. You would visit various places like Rashtrapati Bhawan, Parliament Building, India Gate, Humayun’s Tomb, Lotus temple, Akshardham, Qutub Minar, Red Fort, Raj Ghat, and Jama Masjid.
In the evening, you will reach the railway station to board the Indian Maharaja train. At the railway you would be greeted like a royalty. Dinner served on board the train.

The train would arrive at Agra early in the morning. After having your breakfast, you would proceed to Taj Mahal. The stunning beauty of Taj would certainly leave you astonished. Taj was built by mogul Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife. After having your lunch at Taj View, you would depart for Fatehpur Sikri. It was once capital of Emperor Akbar but was abandoned afterwards. Explore the splendid ruins of the abandoned city.
Thereafter, you would proceed to Bharatpur from where you would board the Indian Maharaja. Dinner served on board. Next destination Jaipur.

The train would arrive into Jaipur in the morning. You will have your breakfast abroad the train. Thereafter, you explore the Jaipur attractions like Albert Hall, and City palace. Afterwards, visit the Amber Fort along with other travelers. After taking your lunch, you explore the Amber Fort, the most magnificent fort in Jaipur.
Explore the bustling markets of Jaipur. You can shop for souvenirs, etc. Return to the Indian Maharaja. Have your evening tea. Lunch is served onboard the train. You will depart for Jaipur sight-seeing of Jaipur. Visit the City Palace. Visit the ancient astronomical observatory known as Jantar Mantar. You will have your dinner at a restaurant accompanied by music and dance. Overnight journey to Sawai Madhopur.

The Indian Maharaja train arrives early in the morning at Sawai Madhopur. Early in the morning, you will embark on a jungle safari of Ranthambore National Park. There is an old fort situated inside the jungle known as Ranthambore fort.
It is after this fort that this sanctuary is named. The Park is spread out in a vast area where you can catch a glimpse of prowling tigers. The Park is known for its commitment to save the tiger.
You will have lunch on board the luxury train, some leisure time on-board the train. The train proceeds to the next destination, Udaipur.

The Indian Maharaja train arrives at Udaipur in the morning. Brunch is served onboard the train. Thereafter, you would visit the fascinating City Palace with a triple-arched gate, the Suraj Gokhada or Balcony of the Sun and the Crystal Gallery.
Then, there is Sahelion-ki-Bari which is famous for its water bodies and fine stone work. The 16th century Jagdish Temple devoted to Lord Shiva. You would cruise on a Lake Pichola to visit Jag Mandir Palace. It is located in the scenic backdrop Jag Mandir.
It is just in the middle of the lake and is very beautiful. You will have a sumptuous dinner at a nice hotel. Return back to board the train to continue your onward journey. .

The Indian Maharaja arrives at Daulatabad in the morning. It is going to be an exciting day. After taking your breakfast, you would visit the World Heritage site of Ellora caves. The caves are at a distance of 30 km from Aurangabad.
There are 34 caves and temples which date back to 600-1000 A.D. There are many legends of Shiva depicted in stone figurines. All these temples are dedicated to different religions like Brahmanism, Jainism, and Buddhism.
After having your lunch at Taj Residency, visit the various attractions of Aurangabad city. Explore the Bibi Ka Maqbara and Panchakki. Return to the train. Dinner served on board the train.

The Indian Maharaja train arrives at Jalgaon in the morning. After taking your breakfast abroad the train, you would depart for sight-seeing of Ajanta caves. These caves are wonderful rock-cut monuments created during 1st century B.C. and 5th century A.D.
These caves contain numerous paintings and sculptures portraying Buddhist themes but with underlying universal themes. After having your lunch, you would come back to Jalgaon by AC coaches. Dinner served on board. Over night journey to Mumbai.

In the early morning, the train would reach Mumbai. The city is cultural and financial centre of India.
It is also famous for Bollywood. You will have a delicious breakfast before getting off the Indian Maharaja train. It is the end of a wonderful journey.
